The slow death of the Earth's sun, the book follows a single 'astronaut' (note: he's not an astronaut) who wakes up in space alone, tasked with a mission to save humanity...if only he could remember who he is.

Project Hail Mary Synopsis

His name is Ryland Grace, and he wakes up alone a million kilometres from Earth. As his memories slowly return, he is stuck with the notion that he is humanity's last hope. A catastrophic threat is dimming our sun, endangering all life on Earth, and Grace became part of a last-ditch scientific mission to save the planet. A Hail Mary if you will.

Armed with his scientific mind and an unexpected ally, Grace must unravel alien mysteries, confront impossible odds, and make choices that could determine the fate of not just Earth… but entire civilizations.
