About
Eris Grey (she/her) is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Fade to Grey, a moody film review space dedicated to the stories that haunt, unravel, and stick with you long after the credits roll. With a deep love for horror, sci-fi, and the beautifully strange, Eris brings a raw, emotionally honest lens to film critique, where every review reads like a letter and every frame is felt. Part critic, part dreamer, she writes for the overthinkers, the feelers, and the ones who find comfort in the dark.

BUGONIA Review
Visually and conceptually, the film is ambitious. Long shots in the daylight despite it's dark nature creates an imbalance of safety, and allows the narrative to force your brain into going back and forth on what is truly happening. The composition is brilliant, the tension never misses, and if not for the final sequences I would be singing it's praises as a masterpiece.

Running Man (2025)
The original adaptation of The Running Man came out when I was a baby, but it was a film that frequently appeared on my dad’s television throughout the ’90s. So it’s no surprise that I eventually checked out this new version. A cyberpunk dystopia where corporations control the world isn’t far off from the political landscape today, but without context for how this society came to be, it’s hard to fully connect with Ben Richards’ anger.

Why Horror Feels Like Home: The Blood, Its Mirrors and the Relief of Being Seen.
My cousin tried to show me an engulfed evil man with fantastical nightmares, but instead of scaring me, all Nightmare on Elm Street did was provide me with a new lens to experience the chaos of my life, and introduce me to the catharsis of experiencing emotions as a child that I once did not understand.
