Superman launched into theatres last weekend with a $220 million international opening, sparking a new era of something much needed back into Superhero movies: hope. The film is projected to do another 60 million this weekend.

Grey Matter Round-Up:
James Gunn posted a teaser poster for Supergirl (2026) with the simple statement: Look out. With the recently rebranded DCU Logos, chatter for the first time in years has been anticipation and hype for the universe.
Edi Gathegi signs multi-project deal as "Mr. Terrific."
No announcements have been made for Batman: The Brave and the Bold, other than to explicitly state that Matt Reeves' "The Batman" with Robert Pattinson will not be part of the DCU, and that both a new Wonder Woman and a new Batman have been fast-tracked.
Fans have been vocal about Adria Adjorna of Andor fame to be cast in the role of Diana Prince, with a long-awaited hope for Jensen Ackles or Alan Ritchson to take the Bat onto the silver screen.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is slotted to arrive in theatres on July 25th, 2025, kicking off phase 6 of the MCU.
Thunderbolts* (Phase 5 closer) has surpassed $380 million worldwide and is expected to launch on Disney+ on July 30th, 2025.

'I Know What You Did Last Summer' reboot in theatres July 18th, along with Ari Aster's 'Eddington'.

Zach Cregger's 'Weapons' marketing campaign has been excellent, with new recently released posters of Children's drawings:
And Michael Shanks' 'Together', a chilling, psychological body-horror from Alison Brie and Dave Franco, arrives in theatres July 30th, 2025.
